The house, located in the old town of Vienna in a walking distance from St. Stephen's Cathedral is also known as the House of Figaro. This house is where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart lived between 1784 and 1787 and during which he composed some of his great works such as what may just be the most popular opera - The Marriage of Figaro. In this apartment, Mozart also used to perform concerts with Haydn.
The 17th century building now tells the story of Mozart through various audio-visual presentations and historical artifacts
